Overview of Academic Research
Huang group focuses on the intersection of trace nucleic acid analytical chemistry, microfluidics, DNA sequencing technology, and high-throughput sequencing. We are committed to developing novel life analytical chemistry instruments and methods to achieve precise quantification and high-throughput measurement of complex biological systems. Through microfluidic chips, optical imaging, high-throughput sequencing, and mass spectrometry, we systematically explore the identification, amplification, and sequencing of trace nucleic acids from DNA to RNA to proteins, and promote innovation in single-cell analysis, spatial multi-omics, and ancient DNA analysis. The group has long persisted in independent instrument development and key technology breakthroughs, aiming to translate basic research results into effective tools for solving practical biomedical problems.
Key research areas include:
Error-correcting code sequencing method and sequencer;
High-throughput in-situ nucleic acid imaging method;
A fuzzy sequencer for rapid DNA fragment counting and genotyping;
Construction of high-quality ancient DNA genome data in complex archaeological sites.
